The Macgeehan Geological Map

During 1968, a student at the University of Bristol, Patrick MacGeehan of Harrow, was working on Montsec making a geological map. This is recorded by a letter from the Crusafont archive (document 7249, Crusafont Archive/ICP) sent by the student’s supervisor to the head of education at Brent Borough Council. Likewise, on the same date as this letter, August 30, 1968, Dr. Crusafont issued a letter (document 7293, Crusafont Archive/ICP) in which he asked the military and civil authorities, as well as individuals, to provide “all the help in their work that is none other than the result of an international collaboration for the good and prestige of Spanish science”
